Leap is helping Cordish companies transform downtowns around the nation
Back in 2007, The Cordish Companies had a vision for Downtown KC. Thought of as a ghost town for many years, Kansas City’s leaders made a strategic decision to build a new arena (now T- Mobile). Across from the new arena was to be an entertainment district. The city decided to partner with the Cordish Companies.
A premier developer with vast experience in transformational city developments backed by entertainment and sports. Cordish was given 5 city blocks to create what is now known as the Power and Light District. It was at this time that Cordish reached out to Leap for design solutions, value engineering, development, logistics, and installation for all furniture and millwork inside its hospitality spaces throughout the district. Leap and Cordish never looked back.
A relationship that now spans 16 years has developed into a partnership for all things furnishings inside multiple venues including restaurants, bars, casinos, office, and residential.
