B&B Theatres

B&B Theatres

The history of B &B Stretches back to 1924 when Elmer Bills Sr bought the Lyric Theatre in Salisbury MO and founded Bills Theatres.  In 1936 the elder Elmer hired 10 year old Sterling Bagby as a concession clerk.  Sterling grew up and came back to work at Bills Theatres as a ticket seller and then started his own business called the Bagby Travelling Picture Show throughout the state of Missouri eventually evolving into a Kansas circuit of drive-in theaters and hardtops. Flash forward to 1980 and the Bills and Bagby families joined forces to create what is now known as B & B Theatres, the 5th largest theatre chain in the country.   B&B has continued to be leaders in the industry as they adapted, pivoted, and created consumer value when attending a movie.  A large part of some of their complexes includes restaurants, bowling, outdoor entertainment, and video games.  B&B reached out to Leap several years ago asking for support on furniture for their new locations and remodels.   Since then Leap has helped drive better, more consistent furniture and adapted based on the concept and design B &B is looking to achieve.
